It used to be all about the zeros.

Yesterday, the more zeros you had in your bank account, the more you were deemed successful. Today, our perspective is shifting.

Money is still important. There is more to the equation, however. Personal well-being, quality relations, professional experiences, contribution to the greater good – these are increasingly more significant than financial net worth.

The events of this century have profoundly impacted human interactions, creating a business climate unlike anything in world history. Personal and interpersonal development is no longer optional, it’s essential.

We have an innate desire to become better versions of ourselves. The workplace is the ideal place for this transformation to take place; not the mountain top, seaside, church or synagogue; not even the latbusiness-interactionsest greatest get motivated seminar.

Mind/body development, interpersonal relations, workforce teams, customer relations … the workplace is the place to achieve enlightenment. We do not typically think of the jobsite as the best environment in which to become better quality human beings – but it is. The world of business, the place we spend so much time together, provides the perfect playing field – the tough, no-nonsense, yet highly creative space in which we learn to work and play well with others; seek meaningful, intentional interactions; discover who we really are; and evolve daily to become our best selves.

It is no longer about the zeros.
